The pleasure gap

Also known as orgasm gappleasure equity

The pleasure gap is the well-documented difference in how often partners reach satisfaction in some pairings — a reminder to prioritize everyone's pleasure intentionally.

The gist

Research has found that in some pairings one partner reliably reaches climax more often than the other. The point of naming this isn't blame — it's a nudge to be intentional: ask what a partner enjoys, slow down, and treat everyone's pleasure as equally worth the attention.
